- simpify connect
Yikes, and I can reproduce that. Did you notice this with previous versions that used font stretch? (Probably not if stretch had no effect for the font(s) you tried it with...)
- bump versions
Yes, Krita cannot use wayland directly.
(Kirigami) Tabs seam to have kind of a strange height of 28.
- What is the current behaviour if the file to be saved can't fit in a typical non-zip64 zip file? (Just curious.)
A gentle ping.
Just for info, there are some pretty old HIG drafts about lists, that contain some stuff about add & remove buttons. Most of it is probably from KDE 4 times.
I think the selection if we save through the PNG 16bit/color or QImage version should be done in Skanlite.cpp not in savePng().
Update to a QThread-based approach of image saving. Now it uses static KSaneWidget::toQImageSilent(). Thus this requires https://phabricator.kde.org/D18446 to be applied.
As it's static it can't emit signals and thus KSaneImageSaver is now getting pointer to KSaneWidget to emit it's signal in case of problems.
Also KSaneImageSaver is now a member of Skanlite class and it's lambda is replaced with new Skanlite's slot.

Stays on top is wrong. The window needs to be in the dock layer, not in the above layer. With keep above other keep above windows can still go on top of it.
Since seeing Alex's improvements to Kwin's blur effect, I've abandoned the idea of implementing blur because it suffers from the same side effects Kwin used to (or... still does, until the diff's approved). In addition, I've noticed it makes people feel as though they suffer from nearsightedness.

let's see how it goes
I haven't pushed anything since KDE svn days but my account should be set up I think. One way to find out. Which branches? master and 5.3?
Or just 5.3 and you're merging to master once in a while?
This is definitely an area that needs fixing ++

Nice! Now the icon is still too big, especially with color. For these error pages, can we experiment with using a smaller size? I bet half as big would look good. Now that I thin of it, the icon should probably go above the text, too.
Revert the CMake change since the icon fallback chain obviates the need for it
Set a fallback icon
Sorry, I really don't think this text squeezing feature is actually desirable. Here's how it works in Kate:
This version uses letterspacing rather than font stretch, so works regardless of whether a stylename has been set on the font.
