Work restarted :) the new approach now use gallien.kde.org as identity provider (soon to be renamed to MyKDE) and the infrastructure is shared with https://fund.carlschwan.eu/ (the kde equivalent to this project) so that the maintaince is shared

really nice work :D
Hi Daniel,
It seems to me that changes for this task are finished.
For a different type of celebrity: Given that our software is used at NASA, potentially somebody that has worked on a programme where KDE software was used could send us friendly message.
hey anubhav , I'm also interested in this . Would you like to work together on this?
We use jekyll for creating the websites and have a theme ready. See https://community.kde.org/KDE.org/Jekyll for a tutorial to how to use it.
I would like to work on this but I have some doubts.
I would like to suggest Linus Torvalds for the list of celebrities.

Also, I forgot to say, we also need to change a few of the existing reload buttons:
So, after going through all the activities, I didn't see other activities that would really benefit from adding a reload button.
Thanks Carl! I only cared about kde.org. :)
What I meant is generally I prefer to not add reload buttons to more activities than what we have already, to respect the choice of each activity's developper wether they wanted to have the reload button or not.
As a name "System Monitor Pages" because the display name of the application is System Monitor.
Thanks! Those sites really only seem to cover some "philosopy" and don't go much into details. Ideally there would be a more detailed place, maybe something for the future.
@timotheegiet, just to clarify, do you prefer to make a list of all the activities you'd prefer we add (or not add) the reload button? We can discuss it later via irc and put the result here if needed :)
Mail sent to kde-community and kde-devel. If we receive feedback that should be incorporated, we can do that directly in the Commit Policy (or wherever we put it).
So to solve this problem you can configure at which size the menu is collapsed by changing the CSS class navbar-expand-{sm,md,lg}, currently it's navbar-expand-lg, for kde.org it is easy to fix (https://invent.kde.org/websites/kde-org/-/commit/a5dd653176a130054f7cdc662e4602a5b6224186) for the other kde.org website it will be a bit more work to create a config option in the jekyll theme.
I guess not
FWIW I don't think we've received a single complaint resulting from this. At least, not that I've heard. Since people hate flip-flopping on UI changes even more, let's close this for now and re-evaluate later. Sorry Marco. :)
Let's continue the discussion in the VDG room.
No consensus, closing.
We figured it out and something nice shipped in Plasma 5.20. :)

I guess not
We renamed it the "release service" and no longer use "KDE Applications" as a brand name, in favor of using individual apps' names whenever possible.
Not actually a real issue since the parser acts on commits rather than merge request descriptions, which don't have the problem outlined here.
Heh, it already doesn't, as long as you prefix the branch name with work/
Looks like this got done.

Okay, I'll debug and check if it gets called!
