Dolphin still doesn't look anything like this and even that cyan border is still there. While I understand the need to redesign a major app, all the other QT apps look just as bad or worse. A lot of this is down to the theme engine.

Note that no KDE tech is being used.

Hi,
Best way to fix this is to make a binding for the size of the receivers, so that it uses a default size close to the current one, and only gets smaller if too much receivers are added in the available area (with something like Math.min(defaultSize, relativeSize).
I am interested in working on this task. However, the provided screenshot is no longer available.

And created https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/merge_requests/1828 for KF6
Could not think of any reason, so created a patch to approach the octet-stream default extension in another way, some autotest included;
https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/merge_requests/1827
Sadly now for octet-stream if ,currentExtension emtpy then extension becomes bogus ".". Was there any reason to make the new option not still also depend on currentExtension (edi: being empty)?

We are working on a KDE Frameworks campaign and will be producing some promo material like animated videos that could be used to keep looping at the booth. If you planning on having printed material, I can help out with that. If you have any other promotional material demands please let me know.

I'm definitely in favour of keeping MarkNote simple and if need be finding another app like Klevernotes or a new app that we can propose to them for this type of task.

Marknote already has a quick sketch module but it's very limited because it just insert an image in the markdown document which can not be edited afterward. It's nowhere as good as e.g. https://rnote.flxzt.net/ from GNOME. The format being markdown based makes it quite unrealistic to be implemented in the near future.
