I'm definitely in favour of keeping MarkNote simple and if need be finding another app like Klevernotes or a new app that we can propose to them for this type of task.

Moved to GitLab issue https://invent.kde.org/teams/flathub/issues/-/issues/23 as it's more visible than an old Phabricator issue.

This is all handled in Gitlab with CI job logs displayed easily for Flatpak builds. Flathub has it's own build page where you can see build status as well. As for AppImages they're not centralised anywhere so no real infrastructure to speak of. Snaps I'm not certain of, perhaps @scarlettmoore can weigh in there.

AppImage doesn't really have a centralised place to store them, and thus distribute them from.
If we want a central AppImage repo for KDE apps it could be hosted on cdn.kde.org but as they can be quite large due to bundling many libraries I'm not sure what the space requirements would be for them or how much space we have @bcooksley

Is this for say AppImages? Is there a simple way to extract the AppStream data from an AppImage?

@apol this appears to now have a camera icon indicating that there is no image. If you'd like we can probably change it to something with the Breeze icon as suggested in the bug report with text along the lines of "No screenshot provided". Or is the camera icon enough?

I've just downloaded this documentation through the web interface without issue. I have also downloaded Cantor to test but I am assuming this KNHS feature isn't released yet? Is it in master or a MR I can grab and test with?

I'd love to see a repo on Gitlab or even another system (so it's easy for those not versed in git) to upload proposed wallpapers. People could tick a box on upload confirming that the license is suitable for KDE to distribute as well and that of course it's their own work.

What's the status of this engagement, has anyone from the KDE e.V. reached out to these developers?
