I added https://phabricator.kde.org/T14791 as a subtask since it's related to this one. That task has stalled since I couldn't find the last few missing files on Collaborate.

Ok. But should we be linking to files on collaborate? The nature of Collaborate is that of shared storage for people working on KDE stuff, not for public-facing stuff.

I would propose that the stuff that lives on Collaborate and is being linked to from the wiki or front-facing web pages be copied to the wiki or the CDN, and be linked to from there.

This is an excellent idea. This should also prevent files from going missing in case the link changes again.

I don't know how we could add files to the CDN or the wiki directly. Do you have any idea?

Yeah, yeah, it's not a problem. The wiki is easy if you have editing powers. You click on the image tool in the toolbar while editing and it will give you the option to upload images.

As for the CDN, I often upload stuff there for announcements -- all the embedded videos are linked from the CDN, so, although I don't know who else has access, I can confirm I do. And we can probably get access for more people working on this task by asking sysadmin politely.

https://marble.kde.org/install.php links to Google Play store apps which don't exist any more.
