Submitted a pull request to implement this feature here: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/merge_requests/220.

Hi @jlskuz , yes, of course you can use the icons I designed. I'll check out the HIG guidelines and see how I can request the git merge (I don't know how to do this).
I would then only finish off the icons to comply to the HIG and remove the mouse cursor.

Implemented (and move). See https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/796
Moved as mentioned above
All requested changes are implemented.
@drnn1076 We are now (finally!) going to work on the advanced trimming tools and it would be nice if we can use your icons. Unfortunately we can't use custom mouse cursors as QML doesn't allow it. For the icons it would be nice if you can make sure that they fit to the breeze HIG (https://develop.kde.org/hig/style/icons/) and open a merge request for breeze at https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/breeze-icons (add me @jlskuz as a reviewer)

More like "projects", not necessarily developers, as many have teams with people that do different things. Some we are talking to. But this is a delicate topic. Often we have to find how to approach project maintainers to reach a mutually beneficial outcome. It is slow work.
What's the status of this engagement, has anyone from the KDE e.V. reached out to these developers?

Hi Eugen,
I suggest that you remove the Fabricator link from the Kdenlive website.
Please let me know if you require any further information from me regarding my requested enhancement or where I found the Fabricator link on the Kdenlive website.
Thanks,
Rob ☺️

Hi Martin,
It would be nice if you joined us chatting about kdenlive dev on telegram: https://t.me/kdenlive_dev
There is also a general channel linked to IRC ##kdenlive (freenode) if you prefer: https://t.me/kdenlive, but there is much more users' traffic...
Also we plan to resurrect our monthly online "café", one evening (21h CET) some day this week to confirm. We discuss about things to do short/mid/long term.
See you!

Then add or switch to the gitlab remote.

- Enve use travis for the CI, we could replace it with Jenkins but we can't build AppImages yet with it.
Krita uses Jenkins to build appimages for both nightlies (both stable and from master) and for all releases and beta versions: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Appimage_Build/ - I don't know technical details though.
- Enve is very young project and doesn't have yet an translations infrastucture set, so it would be easy for them to adopt the KDE localizations infra.
- Enve use github but it is easy to migrate to gitlab
- Enve could need some help with their website and promotion, something that the KDE web and promo team can help with
I think this would be interesting for everybody working on the "All about the Applications" goal also.
Possible immediate advantage for Scribus: @afarid mentioned Scribus uses Transifex. If I understand this right, this is proprietary subscription-based service. By joining KDE, Scribus could take advantage of our already existing translated corpus plus translator teams for more specific stuff

If ti was released 2 years ago i'd say it's a no brainer.

Thanks for the idea. I implemented it in git master, so you should now have a "Reset configuration" option in the help menu (will be in Kdenlive 19.08 or in our daily builds on binary-factory.kde.org)
