Oh! I just made some new tests, and actually I'll be able to bring back android builds compatible down to Android 4.1, which is the oldest supported by Qt 5.12.x.
I don't remember exactly why it was needed in the past to pull up the minimum required version, but now it works fine. Great. At least it we can still support this range until we move to 5.15, which only support Android from 5.0 (api 21).
About "Remove from website to download the 0.95 version if there are issues with ssl (as it should be fixed now)", this line was initially only intended for Android 4.4.2 version, and our packages require Android 5.1 (api 22) since a few releases.

I've done this on October 8th 2021 in a bunch of commits, so closing this task as resolved.

I'm looking at fixing it at the fading effect level. If really not possible, I'll let @hadron look at adding extra space.

Actually we only need a tutorial for oware (against Tux), no need to repeat it for oware_2players, same as we do for nine_men_morris. You can by the way take a look at the tutorial of nine_men_morris for inspiration.
I'll edit the task accordingly.

Task updated again with some missing entries, and grouped all new images and visual improvements for activities together.
Task edited, Basque, Hungarian and Malayalam languages were already included before...
Sep 22 2021
Task edited to describe a really generic double-entry table activity, mainly for server-based usecases.
Sep 20 2021
This activity will be quite complicated to localize properly because not all languages have gender or plural for nouns (like in English there is no gender for nouns; I would need to dig more to double check about plural for other languages...).
So we would need to handle languages which have only gender or only plural, and for languages which have none of the two hide the activity... A bit tricky.

Actually I already updated those strings after you created this task, with more appropriate content, so I think this task can be closed as resolved.

@aniqakhokhar Hi, new post here:
Apr 21 2021
@aniqakhokhar Thanks! New post here:
Apr 20 2021
After a little discussion on irc, I decided to update again the brush editor icon, here is how it looks:
Thanks @Deevad for the feedback.
Ramon told me in PM he agrees with the change, and for him this icon "is a plane where we can locate the center easily using diagonals. that helps. so for me is helping me like an assistant"
So one more +1 for the new icon.
@ramonmiranda @Deevad : can you please give your opinion about this question, as @tymond is also hesitating about it now:
Re-reading the comments, I agree with ognarb when he said "I'm not really sure about using quotes and facts for social media posts".
Apr 14 2021
@tymond ok, then I'll revert to the previous icon for now, and if it appears really needed I'll bring back the new one.
So I've pushed the new assistant icon, I hope you'll like it too :)
Apr 13 2021
@Deevad I've changed the load snapshot icon to this:
@tymond About the "Measure Tool vs Assisstant Tool icon":

I like the idea, simple and efficient.

Currently it's "Children Educational Game Full". It could be named "GCompris: Educational Activities for Children" or something similar, as it's more descriptive and better sounding, while at the same time it shows GCompris in the title. @timotheegiet

Chains-lock button should be fixed now.

Yes, correct
For consistency with maze activities I would prefer to have two separate activities, one for each mode.

As I said in a previous comment, I prefer to only keep 2 levels.
The idea for the 3rd level would not bring much more knowledge (if users pass the 2 levels, they already know the positions), and I don't think we can implement the idea for the 3rd level with a simple-to-use gameplay that fits with the first 2 levels.
+ same comment for the document tabs: I see that when there's more than one document open, the tabs get bigger height, which is a bit of vertical space waste.
Also, I agree with @mwein about the tabs: better keep the text as it was before; having the begining cut just looks weird.

@timotheegiet is still working on it. Now the single docker has title missing. I think Animtim said he is going to look in to it and there is still work to do.
Yes, I'll work on these items in my next round of sponsored work next month ;)

Note, I finally managed to harmonize all toolbar buttons and icons sizes, yay! :-D

I finally gave up trying to set the size of all the buttons in KToolBar, there must be a way to do it but it's definitely beyond my very limited c++ skills...
I'll let someone more knowledgeable do it.
I'm personally OK with using standard sizes in other places ;)
To complete my previous comment, I would add that there are also several other component on the toolbar that have a defined size that looks best if all the buttons are 32x32:
-The Gradient button and the Patterns button (which are 32x32)
-The Foreground/Background colors widget (this one is 28x28, but looks good when components around are 32x32)
-The blending mode combobox, and the sliders (they have a fixed height of 32)
Thanks for the feedback :)
Though actually I would prefer to do the other way around, that is change KToolBar to use the same values as we have in the paintopbox, and in the paintopbox do both setFixedSize(32,32) and setIconSize(22,22). This looks much better I feel, as then the buttons are the same height as the combobox and as the sliders (else, with just setting the icon size, the buttons are a bit smaller than the sliders with fusion). But for this I need to dig more into KToolBar to see how to properly set the size of buttons, and the height of the toolbar itself (actually the height of the toolbar is adapted automatically, I was confused thinking it would not by setting its size by mistake in my tests...)
While I agree that "technically" it would be nice to can use those QStyle values, in practice it doesn't seem very good...
Feb 9 2021
I first made this proposal after noticing that we already define our own sizes for buttons in several places, and so thought that it could make sense to do it everywhere the same way to be more consistent.
