What do you think about it?
I could read all, very good research @tymond .
I really like the modulable features idea of @emmetoneill and @eoinoneill (the three bullet points in previous post).

I very like this thread proposal because the feature really cover many scenarios. Custom icons in toolbar can stimulate the part of DIY in each artist. Investing time on their UI, their setup, sharing cool screenshot with funny custom tools icons, feeling more 'at home' on their own Krita setup.

Thank you for starting this thread.

@rempt Sorry about that. It was only scenarios and feedback about my preferences. Not a will to put an order, command or to impose a vision about a design. Again, sorry if I wrote this way, I had no idea about it. I'll move away from this topic to not add more noise, but I'll be always around if you need any feedaback, test, scenario or usecase.
Are you sure such notifications are needed for resources that didn't have custom versions created by the user?
Thank you very much @dkazakov for the detailed post. 👍

Hi, I had difficulties to follows the full thread and I tried my best. At one point, I lost it (probably English + technical terms).
So, I prepared a tiny scenario with four panels (A, B, C and D) to storytell a situation, then 4 questions. Please enlarge the image attached under to read it.
I hope it will help to check if the current design + requirements can solve these usecases.
My apologies if I bring here too basic scenarios or problems considered out of the scope (in this case, just tell me and I'll fly away 😉).
Thank you for the hard work.

I like the new icon. Thanks!
👍 Super @timotheegiet !
📷 Snapshot docker
Thank you @timotheegiet for the icons on the snapshot docker, the change is very good!
I just read all the thread (and also updated my email setting; next time I hope I'll catch notification).

(IRC) <halla> it's a bit boring because I couldn't remember what specific projects we did when, so if anyone wants to help, please add notes for me here:

Hi, here is a request for better buttons icons on the snapshot docker, especially the middle one: the camera.
The [+] makes sens for creating a snapshot, and it's consistent with the layer docker's design. No problem with this one.
But the button to load a snapshot is a camera icon: Something my brain wants to click to create a snapshot, while −danger− it loads the snapshot selected on the list (something you can't undo later unfortunately). Here is a picture:

Disclaimer: I never used the Global selection mask, and I discovered the feature 5min ago, on the Select menu.
So here is my feedback:

Hi, (I'm here for opinion)

Ctrl+Space allows to zoom at cursor position already, for laptop users.

Hi, picture on top: I ran tests to compare 4.1.5appimage (left) and git~master with the flow patch (right).

Hi,
Thank you for taking care of this (huge) issue, the screenshot looks really promising.

Very good. Thank you for opening this topic. From a user perspective; I'll answer something basic and minimal: a yellow icon (maybe with a orange outline) appears on the bottom (near the memory usage) around 80% of max resources used. The icon might look like a button one can press: a pop-up display a small text explaining basic things about ram and proposing solution: reduce layer stack by merging, split large animation into scenes, etc...

Thank you for the work on Wrap transform.
I understand the limitation to 6 max; I rarely subdivide a lot myself. If I need more thinner grain or smaller deformation: I often prefer the Liquify mode.
But maybe Someone can use it later on a super large canvas with a lot of CPU/GPU, and why not limiting the amount in this case?
Thank you Reptorian for the new composite ops.
I'll review this week the reptorian/blending-modes branch and comment about the new effects.

I like the new layout you propose here. It is much more cleaner!
I added "Inline Comments" under about the two buttons on the footer.
