Ctrl+Space allows to zoom at cursor position already, for laptop users.

Hi, picture on top: I ran tests to compare 4.1.5appimage (left) and git~master with the flow patch (right).

Thank you for taking care of this (huge) issue, the screenshot looks really promising.

Very good. Thank you for opening this topic. From a user perspective; I'll answer something basic and minimal: a yellow icon (maybe with a orange outline) appears on the bottom (near the memory usage) around 80% of max resources used. The icon might look like a button one can press: a pop-up display a small text explaining basic things about ram and proposing solution: reduce layer stack by merging, split large animation into scenes, etc...

Thank you for the work on Wrap transform.
I understand the limitation to 6 max; I rarely subdivide a lot myself. If I need more thinner grain or smaller deformation: I often prefer the Liquify mode.
But maybe Someone can use it later on a super large canvas with a lot of CPU/GPU, and why not limiting the amount in this case?
Thank you Reptorian for the new composite ops.
I'll review this week the reptorian/blending-modes branch and comment about the new effects.

I like the new layout you propose here. It is much more cleaner!
I added "Inline Comments" under about the two buttons on the footer.

ref. default-kit right now, many looks duplicate (thumbnails):
@razvanr : I have the feeling you want to push me to defend, explain or justify my feedback more than necessary. I think I was clear enough in my previous message. But here a last try:
@razvanr : 3-4 pressure variation for ink brush is nothing fancy for digital-inking. If the thumbnail are different it will not be a problem (eg: soft=thin brush, medium=pen nib, hard=tubular ink pen). So big +1 with recommendation of @woltherav.

@razvanr : It's ok.

I test your zip @radianart ; two presets shine in it more than the other in my opinion:

Super for being in master.
I tested today. Good job; it's easy to use! :-)

Super @woltherav , they look very good.
Sure, I was planning we mix our icons set (maybe other artist want to join too?) in a common library.
Nov 12 2017
That's so cool!
Yes, it will help a lot. Thank you.
@woltherav , thank you for your continuous effort on this topic. It's inspiring. I cleaned my pack, renamed and exported to PNG on alpha. Here is the pack. Emblems, and additional brush will come later.

Thank you @woltherav , I'll work on it during the next days.
I want to propose a pack of "brush icon" + "small emblem". what size/format is optimal for populating this GUI?
Nov 9 2017
@woltherav : Sorry about that. New feature is Offtopic, my mockup was as well. Mea culpa...
Thank you for the answers.
Make Krita open by default a tag "Basic". This tag contains the future brush kit we are speaking here, friendly, clean for general usage.
Then propose other tags: "Favorite" to let the user make her/his shopping, "Natural media" with a lot more specific natural looking textured brushes, "Experimental" with purely digital looking brush-engines, "Pixel-art" with aliased brushes for pixel artist, "Pattern and Texturing" with a huge library of patterns and textures, "Normal map" with specific preset for 3D artists. Of course, "All" tag will still exist (and be obviously a mess) but no longer the one considered by default nor on top of the tag list. With a system like that, you can even embed a tag for old 3.x brushes... Bonus point if all this "tag" could be activated/deactivated by the user like bundle :-)

I like this topic. I'll be around.
