@phils There is a replacement for kwallet https://community.kde.org/KDE_Utils/ksecretsservice (it implements https://specifications.freedesktop.org/secret-service/) but unfortunatelly is not maintained :(

But... there is another solution - you can replace Qt::Tool with Qt::Popup and there will be no possibility to use Alt+Tab until you exit selection mode. So, you never lost keyboard focus, I think that's the best solution to use Qt::Popup.

I think it's fixed. Yes, QuickEditor is always on top but after clicking anywhere you have keyboard focus again :)

Without Qt::WindowStaysOnTopHint I see panel above QuickEditor :)

You removed setWindowFlags(Qt::BypassWindowManagerHint | Qt::WindowStaysOnTopHint | Qt::FramelessWindowHint | Qt::Tool) to fix https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374009, but this broke QuickEditor on multiscreen cofiguration.

For me missing feature in open/save file dialog is search function. It would be nice to have this like it's in Dolphin. I am writing this, because I don't see anthing about this in above list. Thank you for your amazing work!

I can test your change on my multiscreen setup. 9cafbb117984f746d4b71213effc3d27e1435f36 fixes for me making screenshots on Wayland session, but there was still problem with blur effect on X session - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389658

@ivan When database is broken additionaly kactivitymanagerd is in endless loop of creating and closing processes. Each KF5 application prints to console message: "KActivities: FATAL ERROR: Failed to contact the activity manager daemon"

@dporobic I'm not a KDE programmer (yet!) but I have in my mind something like KTextEditor for text editing (KImageEditor?).

What about create new Framework for simple editing images?

• It would provide functions like cut, resize, add text, icons, draw lines, place stickers etc.
• It would be embeddable in any app like: Spectacle, Kamoso and Skanlite (yes, it would be nice to draw some highlights / arrows on scanned docs)
• It would provide add new stickers from https://store.kde.org/ - nice for Kamoso on phone - you have builtin Snapchat/Instagram function ;)
