I have just heard back from Antti Kukkonen, at TQtC, saying that this change has been made, so we should presumably see that propagate in the next few hours

old sysadmin Ticket ID #WHQ-9986 (10/2/16) discussed setting name servers and Registrant but i haven't found if anything happened beyond that. my guess would be not
It was originally registered by TQtC, and we then had it point its dns servers to us so we could manage it
I still like kabel

We talked previously I think that upgrading them to 8 would be fine as sites can be swapped over one at a time

@ognarb has made a nearly working theme for akademy drupal (it has its own peculiarities)

How have you been thinking of implementing these things without diverging from upstream?

Could the announcements maybe have an rss feed? Then if that was included on planet that would go a reasonable way to not needing to have them additionally on the dot?

For ev.ko are there German legal reasons/advantages for it being separate?
In T11986#207204, @ltoscano wrote:Also, please note that the announcement page and the dot (KDE.news) have different goals. The dot is meant to also contain general articles and interviews. A dot entry could simply briefly say that that a new release announcement is in place and point to the proper page on kde.org/announcement/ or whatever else. This would remove the duplication.

In T8449#197436, @ognarb wrote:I found another problem, the blender id devs didn't explicitly add a LICENSE file to the repo (there are some mention of gpl2.0+ in the repo). I think they forgot (most of the KDE website repos don't have a LICENSE file too) but I prefer to be sure. So I created a request to add it explicitly.

akademy-2020-call-for-hosts_paul_ID_KD_SD.odt16 KBDownloadI am having trouble with the following, though:
- Venue Contract
This section is just confusing as talking about cancelling doesn't seem to be related to the rest of a section talking about how KDE eV can be the signatory of any contractsI am interpreting this as like when you have to cancel a flight, but you still incur in some costs by doing so. I understand that the venue costs of cancelling the event, if they exist, would be assumed by KDE e.V.

@ognarb if you login at https://akademy.kde.org/user you can then see what i put in the page https://akademy.kde.org/2019 looks like something might be mangling it a bit from viewing the generated html
It is inside the <script> tag, just that the content generated by drupal puts everything inside <div>s
- Event format and dates

I don't think it is really practical to not share your IP address when downloading a video as you have to get the data. Only VPNs and Tor can help with minimising that.
