In my bold opinion, the goal of professionalizing KDE (development) might be a parent of this ticket. Why? Cause when there’s more quality, there is more market share, there is more funding, there is more time to support minorities. Also: some of the mentioned work may be less fun so is more likely by someone payed to do so.

dcahal awarded T15611: KDE For All: Boosting Accessibility a Like token.
I'm extremely hopeful that this important goal will be voted through. The issues addressed by this goal are currently some of the biggest barriers to KDE's long-term growth and success. Carl would make an excellent goal champion, having been one of the most active developers of accessibility patches within the last two years.

NeoChat crashes regularly and throws server errors about exceeded user limits, as already mentioned above. I'll investigate in that as soon as I have more time.

I think we could at least do social media posts in support of the strike. A decision on the banner can't be made by Promo alone, and based on lack of input on the mailing list, I don't think we're going to be able to do that.

Just wanted to say thanks for this. Adding Documents is the first thing I do when I open Dolphin on a fresh install.

The turnaround time on this was amazing. This will make managing Places entries so much easier! Great work!
Okay, I was only referring to the Places section, not the entire panel.
Are you referring to the mounted device under the Devices section? I'm unaware of how to get to the root directory in a single click using Places, if the existing link is removed.
I strongly advise against this. This change goes against Plasma's brand identity and will provoke a strongly negative reaction from our core audiences.

I think any icon might be better served reflecting the purpose of Baloo. A lot of users don't know what it does, and only ask "what's baloo?" after something goes wrong and the name shoes up in the crash log.

I think the goal of this task was to get the complete manual moved over to the docs. Currently, there is only the Quick Start guide.

Would @yurchor be willing to help me out with restarting the conversion process from the wiki to docbook? It seems like this would make the whole process easier for everyone.
The handbook relies on KHelpCenter, which always points to https://docs.kde.org/.

If the press channel and its member list is actively maintained, some of those people might make good additions to a Promo media list. The purpose seems very different from what I was hoping for, however. The press channel looks like a listserv that sends a weekly digest to all members. The address "kde-ev-marketing" also makes me wonder about the focus of its coverage. Hopefully someone involved can shed more light on its current status.
There was one, but it doesn't seem to have been used lately. It would be great if anybody could dig it up. Update the information so it's current, remove people who aren't on the Linux beat anymore, and polish it up with a few new faces. It would certainly make things easier.

I think that the "commercial" part is not relevant for the naming. "KDE Store" is just our software store, following a known terminology.
The Meta Store section should be renamed "KDE gear" or "KDE Merchandise" or some similar (but perhaps more enticing) name.
"Who We Are", "What We Make", "What We Believe In".
@mmustac There's a website update in development. This task is just one part of it. I'm told VDG have already done their part as far as graphic design is concerned. There is still work to be done in terms of coding and the deployment of Wordpress.
Are there problems with implementation? I don't understand why this concept would not be considered an improvement to the way source selection is handled.

I realize this is one face of Oracle's cube logo, but I can't help but see the big "VM" and think VMware. I associate VirtualBox with the box shape. Am I the only one?
Here is a 16px version of the new icon. @lshoravi's revised version looks even better, and works well at any size. Well done!
This is an extremely helpful change for users with a large library, and the UI tweak from @januz is much appreciated. I just corrected a typo in the title after the WIP tag was removed.
dcahal retitled D10088: Implement a filter view and play buttons for all views from mplement a filter view and play buttons for all views to Implement a filter view and play buttons for all views.
Thanks, @ltoscano for the quick solution to this, and for making it exportable for those who wanted the functionality. This should cut down on the number of times people like me have to ask for reminders on what's coming up.
