@shadowfax That would be a good idea but be prepared for quite some work.

I would like to help pushing this forward. Not sure I can really help with development tasks but at least we should work to get a package ready to be published (properly packaged, with installers generated by binary-factory at the format expected by Windows Store).
Is somebody already working on packaging Dolphin for the Windows Store ?

https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/elisa/-/merge_requests/178 will include the implementation of this task.

@fbaumanis Sorry for the late answer.

@ngraham The removal of the unrelated posts is https://invent.kde.org/websites/elisa-kde-org/-/merge_requests/4 and I just merged it.
@ognarb The current list looks good except maybe @nikunjgoyal and @deprov who created the site are out of the list. Is this usual for websites ?

It is perfect. I am really grateful to everybody for such a nice website.

@nikunjgoyal Thanks a lot and I am very sorry to have missed you in my first comment.
@deprov Thanks a lot !

Thanks everybody for this initiative. Even though I did some web dev at my work, I really feel incompetent on this.
That will be really cool to have a website to promote Elisa and help its users find information about its usage.

I would still like to work on a proper solution to allow an application to monitor moved files or similar stuff without having to add file system watchers itself (duplicate from Baloo owns watchers).
Do you have an idea ?
Elisa would need to register something like a "persistent query". This is something also dolphin needs - there definitely already is some notification between dolphin/baloo, but that is not working properly.
This could be something like "Audio files in ~/Music/", "Audio files in ~/Audio books/", etc., and you get a signal whenever the query would return a different result.

To be clear, I am fine with this change going in.

If yes, then the corresponding code is Baloo is also useless ... I would like to remove the the metadatamover from Baloo, but the existence of this DBus interface is blocking that.
The unusual method to get notified is about avoiding signaling moved files if nobody is watching. Baloo will only callback if applications have registered themselves.
Sorry for the lack of time to do a proper review.
Thanks for clarifying what I should have done. I will push a new version compliant with the KDE policy.

This is the reason why it is so slow in Elisa?
