Description

Add playing indicator for the current track in all of its views.
If the current track is in the shown album, it should be visible that it is currently being played.

Yes please. That is a nice idea as it would allow to use Elisa without having to display the playlist. That may be more convenient to a number of people.

I believe that it can be a good idea to also have @ngraham in the loop. As far as I remember @ngraham kind of like to not have an explicit always shown playlist. Is this correct ?

I've gotten used to the global playlist. :)

UI-wise, I think this might be as simple as also showing a playback indicator for songs in the main view that happen to be playing in the global playlist right now.

@shadowfax That would be a good idea but be prepared for quite some work.

You will have to go through all views and find a way to recognize that the shown track is the currently playing one (that part may be already accessible).
