We have a project that's essentially Plasma for embedded devices and appliances, currently named "Minishell." We'd like to come up with a new name and some real branding for it so that we can advertise it more effectively.
Ideas for a new name:
Once we have a name, let's come up with a flashy logo for it, too!

But I have to say I admire the symmetry of Plasma Ion

I vote for Ion as well. It just sounds cool and it kind of make sense since plasma is ionized gas.
"Plasma Nano" is cute - I can imagine a cute Konqi going with this.
"Plasma Ion" is cool and goes with the trend started by Neon.
Hard decision.
Plasma Mobile is already using the tagline "Plasma in your pocket" which suits the project really well, so I wouldn't go with "Pocket Plasma" because it could easily get confusing.
Nano, just as a word, seems like it would be easier to pronounce in different languages than Ion (because of the "io" sound - some will pronounce it as ay-oh, others as ee-oh...).
My vote here goes to Plasma Nano. :)
FWIW Plasma Nano is my favorite too because of how it rolls off the tongue: two words each with two syllables, with a vowel sound ending the first word and consonant sound beginning the next one.
for me the only two no no are plasma active and plasma spark (for the same historical reasons)
among the all, I think i like slightly more Plasma Nano, yeah.
Since Plasma's logo has this triangle-like shape (>) that can mean greater/bigger than something, it can probably be inverted to mean smaller than regular plasma (so it fits with the Nano name)
