Looks great! Not having to avoid certain wallpapers is a big win for usability. :)

I still think this should be addressed. Maybe we can change the text of the action from "Close Tab" to "Close Window" if there is only one tab ?

I tried some programs on different operating systems and observed that Ctrl + W generally closes the window if it's the last tab and even closes the window on some programs that don't support tabs to begin with. Konsole also does this so it wouldn't behave differently than every other KDE app.

Please don't introduce options based on what's unpopular on Reddit.
Here's an idea: we don't even show the "Mounted" emblem in the places panel at all, just the "Unmounted" emblem when the disk isn't mounted.

Yes; I would be completely happy if the current (size and all) OSD would appear in the periphery of the screen, preferably a corner. So perhaps the missing option is actually a drop-down for the position of the OSD? An ambitious plan would be:
- Center: the current OSD. (Default)
- Notification Area: shows a thin vertical bar in the Notification Area (so the lower right corner for the default panel).
- Top: shows a very thin horizontal bar centered at the top edge.
- Bottom: like the above.

How about dimming the icon for unmounted/ejected drives?
While I wouldn't use it (yet?) I think it's a great addition and would benefit a lot of people. I give it a +1, especially if D15739 gets approved aswell. ;)
All arguments make sense. It even looks a lot better without the red folder icon. +1
Looks good to me +1

+1 on removing style/type from the strings
Ideally the volume lines would show how loud an application currently is by having an equalizer-like overlay on the blue volume bar.
While orange may mean "warning", it could mean any kind of warning. In this case, it's a warning that an extreme setting is being used, but there is a lock in the corner to show that it is at least safe.
