I was thinking: we go to OpenExpo (T10539), which is in Madrid, do our Promo thing there, and then grab the high speed train down to Málaga for the sprint. Both cities are well-connected with international airports. The problem with Madrid is that I don't know where we could do the sprint and it is much more expensive than Málaga.

Interesting idea! Please ping me once you know more about this as a valid option, so I can make the proper arrangements on time. =)

Colocating sprints can be great if there are useful synergies but please keep in mind that they can also be a distraction making each of the sprints less focused.

My vote for Málaga, but I'll should arrive on 22th, 21th is last day of class and need to get my qualifications.

So maybe another weekend. @skadinna, when are you free? You mentioned you had several trips pending. Say which weekends you would be available, and we can put that up as an option.

Yes, Málaga would also be fine for me, just some other time. Any place is actually fine; my problem is the timing 😅

General outline of topics we'd like to cover during the sprint:

1. Overview: current state of KDE Promo; what has improved and what we've achieved since last year; which new issues and challenges have arisen

2. How to improve our review process for sensitive and embargoed content?

3. How to improve our onboarding practices and materials?

4. Building a central inventory of promo materials - physical and virtual. Where they are, how many do we have, how much it costs to make new ones, who's responsible for sending them around...

5. Outreach strategies for events; especially non-FOSS events. How do we align attending events with Promo goals? How do we motivate more people to attend different types of events and run booths?

Hello, I am fine with both dates for Malaga, and even I am fine with the Athens Idea.

I checked my work calendar and the best date for me would be May 31 - June 1. I have the time to travel. I have a preference for Athens :D, but that's just me.

I pretty much burned out of promo after QtWS. I have Opinions, but not necessarily the desire or energy to share them. I have a thing june 4/5th, and wasn't planning on going to onboarding,; outside of that I'm generally available, but don't let anything depend on me. (editedchanged date on my existing event)
