I'm trying to keep the conversation with the Conan community public and available without needing any new accounts (Slack) here: https://github.com/conan-io/conan/issues/3106#issuecomment-415152821

A Conan package has the following reference format: <name>/<version string>@<user>/<channel>. All these fields are strings, and can be anything that we want. I've thought so far that we should use the project name as package name. But considering T9451, that cannot be like this.
After this year's Akademy I got motivation once more to work on this. I'll try to do a test Pootle server and keep track of the task here: https://phabricator.kde.org/T3650

I've talked with @bcooksley about how we can automate the build of conan pacakges in our CI system and here are some ideas we've discussed:

+1 for not adding KDE PIM by default.
An basic email client is needed still, so I propose we have a easy way to add KDEPIM, like we had for Firefox back in the day.

I understand we have a patch for making that Empty Trash button work. Does the patch not work?

What if we remove the toolbox button?

If this is an option than I'll test the heck out of it. Just let me know. And also I'd like for us to make sure we have the most recent version possible available in the archive.

Proposed list:
I'd have a better proposal: Let's not ship preinstalled KDE-PIM. Many people don't use it, and it's easily installed if needed. we can launch a pol in the community and ask what do they think. I've removed it from my system, and the system is twice as fast, and less memory is used.
I like the idea. To add a bit more info:
