I think Plasma needs a whole lot more padding all over the place, not just in the notifications, but I guess there must be some kind of compromise with all the people who like more cramped UIs.

This is also somewhat of a prerequisite for T11057 I think.
I think you're underestimating what it takes to make a good and useful GUI application. It's usually much more than just a visual representation of a CLI tool.

Agree about the redundancy and reinventing of the wheel but that's how it is in open-source.

I actually consider this a part of T11057 because something like this is a must for tablets.

I like that. Having the clickable area extend to the end of the frame like on Windows is better from a usability standpoint because you don't have to aim so precisely. Especially if your window is maximized you can just jam your mouse in the corner and click to close.
