I've just done some big clean-up and improvements to this activity. About your first request, that won't really change as the way it works is to move an item by clicking on its destination slot, which in my opinion is good. But the visual improvements should make it more obvious (before the ListView was not clipped, so it could show an extra item not clickable on the bottom, which was indeed confusing).

Task completed last year, closing as resolved.

We can test sitter implementation of selenium qt driver to try to automate testing.

In js, there is also https://github.com/its-your-favorite/RushHourSolver/ (algorithm explained in https://blog.alexrohde.com/archives/408 but no licence) or https://github.com/VolticFroogo/rush-hour-web (AGPLv3). First code must not be used.

I've found a good command-line software that is able to find solutions for this type of game. We can probably use it as reference or reuse some of its code for this hint feature.

It would be really helpful to have comments for translators.

I'm ok with the idea to add short definition for some words to make life of translators easier.

There seem to be an issue with one image: qrc:/gcompris/src/activities/binary_bulb/BinaryBulb.qml:58:9: QML QQuickImage: Error decoding: qrc:/gcompris/src/activities/digital_electricity/resource/texture01.webp: Unsupported image format (only Qt6 so not a big issue for now)
