This is becoming a huge problem for the future. The issue is that just saying "we need touch gestures" is meaningless unless we know WHY Plasma needs touch gestures. Not as in "everyone else has it" but rather looking closer at what kind of experience we are trying to provide for touch users? Are we intending for it to be something someone sets up? Like a fake touch experience by editing widgets and extensions to make it mimic a touch experience or is this something we need to create?

True it is a bit of an odd duck that whole area :) Either way, no blockage from our POV as far as I can tell

Added a secondary suggestion for OSD icons.

From a visual standpoint: on the one hand it breaks the "Left Align Text" when available, on the other the key feature of it is to inform the user of something critical (which trumps visual coherence to the theme). So there is no protest from the Visual/Design side of things

Sry just a quick comment about blue line - its not part of it as a seperator but as a visual flair thing. We can remove the line if you guys think it wont fit at all.

Fully possible and in many ways already done. Design wise its simply adding the star icon to things in get hot new stuff that are considered prime citizens in Plasma (taskmanager, system tray etc). So far so good, after that redesigns would be interesting for some but this is where problems crop up. So far the weather applet is the only one where this is true.

As system settings is, like Plasma, a box surrounding a group of other things it is almost meaningless to edit them if the things within it arent done. And this task is simply to wide to describe the projects current state.

Is not clear if at all possible as it may be a manpower issue remaining
