Could you split this change?
I'm willing to add the 2019 support but the setup script should not mention it yet.
Make sure we have python3 around
Don't install coloredlogs for python2
pip was moved to craft-core
Use coloredlogs if available
Always run setuphelper

So then the workaround is correct, I haven't tried whether the original code compiles with CMAKE_CXX_STANDARD=17

The main difference for a Qt application not marked as gui/WIN32 is that a console Windows will pop up when the application is executed.
