Here's something using the darker colour (#91CFFF) from the Ocean mockup.

Not sure how I feel about the "ripples". Those are hover effects? Could be a good idea. Maybe needs more discussion.

Here's an adjusted version of the skeuomorphic design emphasising my favourite elements of Breeze:

• The modest appearance with a few garnishes to keep it visually interesting
• Ease of rendering keeps performance high and snappy (only fills and outer borders are used for elevation, not computationally expensive gaussian blurs) and designs easy to adapt to various platforms
