Actually, I would tend to package one "KDE Games Center" application that bundles multiple of the games.
Rational:

  1. Less work for us to update.
  2. Smaller size for the user, the individual games are very small compared to the basic level of deps in each package.

We at the moment can't create multi-app bundles, Hannah will take a look.

Why sould do that? These games are not necessary.

?

I mean that these KDE games are boring, mostly is board games or or clones of classics. I think it's necessary to invest in porting KDE applications than KDE games.

Don't you think this is a rather rude statement towards the people that contributed to these games?

@KonqiDragon Please be respectful (see kde Code of Conduct), these games are maybe for you 'not necessary', but fellow KDE contributors put a lot of time in it and you should respect their work. Please stop calling apps that you like or use unnecessary, this is already the second time https://phabricator.kde.org/T11335#195583

Moreover, I don't think that these apps won't get any success, see this reddit comment.

Maybe I'm wrong, but in new Goals, KDE wants to stop supporting some applications to support something one (e.g. a 3 music players is too much). So i think that KDE Games it's a not very important task, i love KDE Applications as a apps like Krita, Kdenlive, Dolphin etc. In https://kde.org/applications games list is biggest (44 Games) and it's very strange. I don't mean that all KDE games is not necessary, but it is too much.

Per https://games.kde.org/get.php?platform=Windows there used to be windows executables generated for KDE games before so I believe there is some demand. I personally compile KDE Knights for myself to use on windows and I think it would be great to have these games back on windows.
