Can we please avoid the term "KDE6". At least my impression is, that we told people quite often about the separate products and that KDE is the community, which is hard to version ;-)

Oof, yeah, I feel you.

That said, KDE is also the collective noun often used to describe the software produced by the KDE community. Plasma + Apps + Framework is pretty much "KDE" in that sense. Or, another way of reading it is "KDE" as an adjective, i.e. "the kde 6 Megarelease" can be read "the 6 Megarelease of the KDE community", much the way "the Barcelona T-shirt" means "the T-shirt of the Barcelona Football Club".

We have the problem that we have to come up with short, snappy way of describing this thing in headlines, something a reader can rapidly understand and absorb with no further explanations. We will work on coming up with a less ambiguous way of describing it. It may be hard, and technically there is nothing wrong with using "KDE 6", but, yeah, I get what you're saying. Will work on it.

How about something like "Release6" ? companion to "# Plasma6"

Or "KDE's Megarelese 6", or something like that. That should make it clear that KDE, aka "The KDE Community", is the entity carrying out the release and not the desktop environment or anything like that. And is still short and still snappy.

I started drafting a text for Plasma 6 Alpha and was going to mention Gear and Framewirks. Do you want we fold all of them into one, as the Megarelease implies?
