Qt World Summit 2023 is happening November 28-29 in Berlin. Traditionally we've had a booth there, showcasing some KDE stuff.
The event tends to me more on the business than the tech side. Goals of attending would be:
- Showing ourselves as a stakeholder in Qt towards the Qt Company
- Connecting to Qt Engineers
- Presenting some of our products (Frameworks, KWin, etc) towards potential enterprise users
- Attracting potential sponsors
We would need to:
- Contact Qt people soon to register our presence
- Prepare something to show (i.e. KDE Software on devices)
- Have 3-4 people onsite to present
