We want to have recoloring support in Qt.
Perhaps it makes more sense to first get it standardized, perhaps not, see discussion here:

If it turns out to be infeasible to upstream icon recoloring we could also solve our problem of broken icon colors on non-Plasma in a different way: By forcing Qt to use KIconEngine always. That would need new API in Qt though
