Right now KDE has a lot of sites/places with outdated artwork, branding, logos and more, so we should try to update them to make everything consistent.
Newest official logos are here: https://kde.org/stuff/clipart.php
The colors and screenshots should be updated as well.

- T5844: Branding Improvements and Assessment
Thanks. Note you can ignore kde.org/applications that should be solved properly with https://phabricator.kde.org/T10159
While doing work for the branding assessment task T5844, I compiled a list of wiki pages that need to be archived or updated with new brand messaging and visuals.
I'll also try to merge pages where it makes sense, so that our resources are not spread out over too many pages (which just increases confusion and makes maintenance more difficult).
Here's the list of pages and suggested actions for each of them. I will be working through them this month.
TechBase
Priority: this page, because it is linked from the clipart site: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Guidelines/CIG/KDE_Logo
UserBase
https://userbase.kde.org/An_introduction_to_KDE
https://userbase.kde.org/What_is_KDE
Community Wiki
This whole page needs to be reworked: https://community.kde.org/KDE
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/Branding
This needs some kind of an intro, and the CIG page below needs to be folded into it. It could also list some brand communication guidelines and possibly link to social media policies
All subpages here: https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Guidelines/CIG
This should probably be moved from the TechBase over to the Community Wiki
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/PressKits
This needs to be archived and replaced with new information
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/Branding/Quick_Guide
This needs to be simplified and reorganized
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/Distribution_Communication
This needs to be archived and replaced with new information
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Branding/Software_Label
This needs to be updated
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/Branding/Map
This needs to be simplified and updated; possibly merged with another page
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material/Presentations
This needs to be archived and replaced with a page with official KDE presentation templates
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material/Artwork
This needs to be updated and possibly merged with another page to reduce duplication
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material/OpenContent
This needs to be updated and simplified; some items are out of date and should be removed
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material/BoothBoxSources
This needs to be updated ASAP
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material/BoothBoxSources/Brochures
This needs to be updated ASAP
https://community.kde.org/Promo/People/social_media
This needs to be updated and merged with another page to reduce duplication
Minor update.

Cleaned-up page ready for updates:
Since archiving and removing old resources from wiki pages seemed to cause some displeasure, I have tried a different approach.
Instead of merging or archiving individual pages with old content, I've updated main Promo wiki pages to clearly show the distinction between outdated and relevant content:
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Material
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance
https://community.kde.org/Promo/Guidance/Branding
This achieves the following:
- Lets people see what's considered outdated and what's not, so they know which resources to use
- Separates outdated content from the rest so everyone can easily contribute to updating it
- Preserves old content and makes it easier to browse through if we need to find something old
The part that remains is transferring information from here to the Community wiki: https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Guidelines/CIG
