@scottpetrovic I only meant the "about" dialog, indeed I don't see the opening splash image needing any other information (as it is now is fine).

I tried the image reference tool for a while, have a couple of thoughts about it, I know is in early state, thus my comment is also taking in account the description in this task.

Couple of comments, I do agree with @razvanr about the default size of the presets, for the sake of consistency, I think they could be rounded to whole numbers, also similar presets are (I think) expected by users to have similar sizes.

I just tried the module in Archlinux, from its AUR repository (builds from git master). And its working.

I don't mean to cut down everything :D but rather I'm referring to the sets like ink_circle, ink_gpen, ink_tilt, pencil2b/hb, (all of these have sets of two with very small variations, mostly size/flow/tip/opacity) same goes for oils, the quick_circles, etc. this just out of my head. I think Krita can perfectly do just fine with only one of each of these, I, as a user, like like to have variety, but one that really varies : ) like between pencil, pen, inkpen, but having a lot of each of these feels busy on the eye and confusing at times.

My two cents: To me, less is more, I found some brushes to be repetitive and redundant, I think the least amount of brushes provided by default that can show the great amount of customization could do good for the presentation of the program, this is, at times the difference between presets is minimal, a good show case will include say two presets of the same engine with a totally different group of parameters/values. This is obviously directly proportional to the parameters each engine offers, more=more presets offered.

This is one of those features I always wish to have on Krita:

I've been using this for a couple of days, I see the benefit on the tablet use, these are my observations:

As I said before, I think the page is ready to go, if any thing here it is "visually" what I was referring to, plus a couple of ideas that came to my mind as I see the page:

Home page PO file is ready for publishing

Scott, I am going to check the po file either this evening or tomorrow, when are you planing to launch the new site? There is a few things I need to fix based on the feedback I got from the forums, unfortunately all my new volunteers kind of disappear for the time been, thus I will only manage to do the main page for now, and try to fix things once is the new site is running.
