I am editing multi cam material. Currently, I divide clips for each camera track in time when camera switch is expected and set disable flags for all clips (cameras) except the one that should be viewed.

Here it is also presented an interesting workflow for 360 movie stitching scenario:
http://stariocek.asuscomm.com/360-recording-and-sync.html
If some of those steps could be invoked directly from kdenlive this would make the process simpler - like directories structure creation, RAM disk allocation, multiblend usage, frames extraction and merging back into movie, with GPU and CPU cores utilisation - based on detected hardware configuration.
Reference frame geometry for stitching, using Hugin lauching, probably need to be handled manually.

SVG would be very handy. Additionally please consider also titles and text placement for 360/spherical movies.
This is very good idea especially considering support for 360/spherical video. G'MIC handles generation of nadir and zenith view from equirectangular projection that is required to properly position tripod cover (graphic or text cap that hides tripod at the bottom of video or above it). Then back transforming that cover to equirectangular projection.
