Prevent tablet randomly jumping
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Wolthera:

There's still that weird thing where the stroke just randomly jumps to a corner of the image. This is completely random, so difficult to track, but probably frequent enough to annoy users.

I also do not observe this on my machine, so I think I need more information before I can help. I will be going through the tablet handler code once more for sanity.

fixed, this has now been replaced by random full-pressure splotches.

edit: not, they just became rarer.

I haven't used the Linux builds recently, usually full-pressure splotches are generated by mouse events which aren't properly blocked. If you could capture the behavior with a tablet event log that would be the best way to target a fix. An alternative is to add some sort of filter to determine whether an event looks out of place and discard it.

I don't know anything about this except that it's apparently Linux specific?
