from what i learned about summit few years ago, my conclusion is that lokalize's branch sync capability is an alternative for the summit. maybe it is not clear enough how to set it up and use it for a regular translator. but this may be solved on lokalize side: e.g. add some wizard that downloads dev+stable branches and showcases usage of a syncview pane of lokalize. please contact me via shaforostoff@gmail.com or https://www.facebook.com/shaforostoff (add me as a friend)
