KDE is celebrating 25 years this October and we're preparing a video of people wishing KDE a happy 25th anniversary.

I think it would be very cool if you could record a 5 seconds video and be part of it.

We're thinking of showing the names of people while showing their video, if you're interested in that name the video as your name and maybe even answer me saying if you'd want any special "description" of what you contributed to KDE as secondary line under the name.

Will you update the task description when videos start to come in so, if someone starts to take a long time, we know who to poke?

Do you focus on popular KDE contributors, or may I also upload my personal greetings?

Also I use KDEnlive quite often for experimental editing and recommend it at every occasion, I could produce a video cut proposal as soon as footage is available if you like. My video quality limit is 1080p for computational reasons. One additional idea I have is to compose a happy birthday background track consisting of old and new KDE sounds, I could give it a try at least.

I also wouldn't mind to step up as a fanboy and reach out to Mr. Torvalds, NASA and CERN (because yet nobody did right?) but I am afraid I will just reach their spam filter...

Don't worry about this. We are trying to reach them through official channels to precisely avoid the filters.

I can contact more people for the videos. Can everyone add the names they have contacted, just to avoid duplications?

Have we heard from Skylar (not sure about the name; same person who compiled the Akademy 2020 welcome video) about compiling the videos together? We should start this soon so we have 1+ month to get it done.

Wouldn't this just be a matter of banging all the videos in Kdenlive? I don't think you need anyone special for that

As we seem to have reached the editing phase, I am adding some sub-TODOs to the Editing TODO, so we can start clarifying how we want to proceed.
