Under the days add the title of the reminder. If the title is too long add "..." At the end. And if you click on the day the task shows up

I don't think that there is enough space in the month view to add any text under the day number. Nevertheless, an indicator can be added instead, showing that tasks do exist. Regarding coloring, I think that we would use it along with icalendar CATEGORIES.
