Subtask of T7682: Proposed look-and-feel changes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381295

A lot of mouse-centric users really like the Desktop, and may not know how to get to it easily besides manually dragging windows out of the way or minimizing everything, which is inefficient (and pretty painful to watch). We should consider adding the Show Desktop widget onto the far-right edge of the default panel to help them out. Also applicable to the Usability & Productivity initiative.

Side note: I use the Show Desktop widget for some time now and switched it to the "Minimize all Windows" version. This seems more intuitive to me because: The current default Show Desktop introduces a new mode (where all windows fly to all sides of the screen where small bits of the windows are still visible). This mode currently forces all other windows to also come back when I click on just on window in the Task Manger to make it visible. Maybe it could be considered to use the "Minimize all Windows" by default.

You will be able to click on "Show Alternatives..." and switch to "Minimize all Windows" if you want. We'll use "Show Desktop" by default because people are used to it and it is easier to undo when hit by accident.
