Description

There's some typos and stuff, list them here.

  • I am wondering if I should be more detailed about the processor data. Things like amount of cores and clockspeed will need manual separation, if people noted it down at all... let alone features like which instructions are possible.
  • OpenSuse is different because the dependacy structure is significantly different.
  • Supported tablet list should be linked.

  • link to the supported tablets page
  • s/Mega Bytes/megabytes/ (or size in megabytes)

That's all -- it's a nice, chatty report :-)

Great job Wolthera

You mentioned in IRC how people have a difficult time explaining or knowing what pixel dimensions are. Even though that wasn't technically a question, that is something you found out from the survey. I would add a point about that in that area.

For the first part about users who responded, I would maybe give website traffic data to be more specific with those numbers. From Junuary 14, 2017 through February 12, 2017, these are the percentage of users:
Windows OS (All versions) - 72%
Mac (All Versions) - 10.2%
Linux flavors - 17.8% (includes Android phones)

Downloads are tricky as linux users sometimes use repositories. I think people that are visiting is probably a better indicator on OS distribution. Android phones are a grey area, so that piece of the pie is a bit unknown.

I am also not sure by reading this data what the purpose of doing this is survey is. Why collect this data? I think adding that information near the beginning will help people see how this is, or will be, used. An example might be it is going to be used when doing tests with specific hardware, or areas the developers will spend more time thinking about or improving.

in the processor part where it says "atom" it should say "ARM" instead.

This is already shared with everyone, so probably can just close this. Good job Wolthera!
