We want to decomission CiviCRM. One large remaining process supported by CiviCRM is managing the supporting memberships. This ticket is for migrating them to Donorbox.
The migration will happen in stages.
1: Preparation
- Prepare campaign page in Donorbox (T16326)
- Prepare communication material to existing supporting members (T16327)
- Set up infrastructure to send emails to supporting members in Donorbox (T16328)
- Design a new https://ev.kde.org/donations/ page (T4275)
2: Opening low-key for new supporting members
- Sort out accounting
- Deploy new https://ev.kde.org/donations/ page
3: Migrating existing members
- Communicate to existing members that they should switch
- Close down CiviCRM (unless there is anything else besides supporting memberships remaining on it)
4: New membership drive
- Run a campaign to recruit new supporting members
