i18n.kde.org CSS style
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After having modified the style of api.kde.org, I began to modify i18n.
The goal is to have the exact same one. The problem is that I cannot access the pages that need a login.

Could you test it and give your feedback here?

To test

  1. Download the following css file.
  2. Go to the website
  3. In Firefox, do [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[C]
  4. Go to the tab "Style Editor".
  5. Select the second file on the left (It should be called "css.php KDE Colors")
  6. Select all the code suppress it and replace it by the content of the downloaded file.

You will have to do that on each page you want to test.

You need to provide a patch against the svn repository if you want your changes to be considered for inclusion.

Yes i know but I can't do a real diff for now because I can't build it (some files seem to be missing).

So I first want some feedback.

People can't test if I just give a diff, so here is a way to have a real review.

I'm people and i can test it with a diff much easier than with all those complex instructions you mention.

There's no files missing, what files are you missing?

Header.inc is not found.

About the diff: for kapidox they asked me to give screenshots instead of the diff. I'll upload it tomorrow.

Goodnight

It's really outdated. I managed to have the php base working (Archlinux ships PHP7, in which all the mysql_XXX where removed.

Moreover, the CSS part of the file I modified is not in the SVN. I have no clue how to do this, and it's not documented at all...

In such cases I would use a virtual machine with an older version (at least to try).
