Goal
In this task, we will develop a strategy to build an audience on social media for KDE's educational software. We are aiming to attract education professionals, parents, academic institutions, and publications, blogs and other media aimed at those audiences also.
Rationale
The reception of the publication on KDE's educational software through our general social media accounts is not very enthusiastic. Most of our followers are not young children, or teachers (or concerned parents, it seems), but more young adult tecnophiles and people with an IT (or related) background. most of our followers are not young children (thank god), or teachers (or concerned parents, it seems), but more young adult tecnophiles and people with an IT (or related) background
We tend to publish stuff that appeals to that profile, which in turn, puts off people like, say, many primary teachers and parents who only want some activities for the kids under their care. So we think different outlets for different audiences would work better and, taking a page from KDE Eco playbook, we should set up separate KDE Edu accounts on social media and start carrying out activities that attract an audience from the education and parenting sectors to these accounts.

- share posts from other organisations that are in sync with our goals
- follow educational streams and accounts
- contact educational organisations and publications and set up relationships with them
