I have two concerns with the proposed (and current) UI.

1. 
   it is very unclear what the three different icons mean. Based on the last one, the black square is an item within a folder, a sub-item if you will. However, the first two icons contradict that notion.
2. The folder icons with their sharp angles are not visually appealing and do not look professional. Maybe switch them for a less angular set of icons?
