However, Chocolatey is basically the equivalent of Homebrew on Mac. There are official Microsoft-Chocolatey collaborations and it's mentioned in official docs. Also, as far as I can tell, the Krita package is officially maintained by KDE, too (look at the authors). I don't know for sure about that one.
