Description

metadata.neon.kde.org currently hosts seed checkouts for livcd-rootfs (bionic). these seeds are currently not deployed automatically though. they only appear to be used for snap seeding, so we may not need them. it'd be good if we actually moved to snap seeding though as we currently maintain a code copy of the snap seeding code in livecd-rootfs

revisit this issue and devise a solution

I do wonder if we should invest time into this without using seeds for snaps. It might be good enough to leave it as it is and then address the deployment problem when we have snap seeds.

OTOH I suppose moving the entire shebang into a jenkins job that runs daily is easy enough to do

deployment is now automated via mgmt_seed_deploy
