Description

The leaflets and flyers we take to events need re-designing to update their looks and make them more appealing.

This is surely needed and it was one of the things standing out as negative in our FOSDEM booth.

It's worth considering stickers as well, we have refreshed logos but we were giving older looking ones. There are also so many amazing konqis, why not take advantage of them?

We should have in mind that each topic (e.g. Plasma Desktop/Mobile) needs a different approach depending on the event. For example we probably want to communicate different things at a developer oriented event compared to a more generic one.

As well as events which are suited to system admins (sys admins) and users. They also have different needs to those at a developer oriented event.

System Admins may likely be interested in different things and communications to what interests general users; as well as developers. As general users may not always be so technically inclined with technology in mind.

So thus a general user may want it to just ... work so they can get on with what they need or would like to do.

Re: stickers: Why don't we attempt to work more closely with Unix Stickers for these types of Promo things? They do give money back to KDE-E.v. Not much (of course, stickers aren't THAT expensive), but a partnership may make sense whereby we could also perhaps sell some of their swag through our "Meta store" links section, and get some cash back via their affiliate program? Also perhaps we would get some type of discount for bulk-orders to update our stock.

Just throwing this out there as an option; I like supporting organizations that support Open Source, and KDE was the project of the month around a year ago: FULL REPORT FOR MARCH 2017

Probably fine for individuals wanting to buy one but would be way more expensive if we were needing to get a bunch for events.

Sounds like it would be worth adding them to the store list though
