So far community.kde.org has a tutorial for "Debugging IOSlaves", with sections for kdelibs4 & KF5 variants -> https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/Debugging_IOSlaves
With the new worker nomenclature fully rolled out for KF6, including changed env variable names, and other principal changes like no more klauncher, it would make sense to not just add a new subsection for KF6 to the mentioned wiki page, but instead start a full new one, without any confusing references to outdated things.
Where to place?
- add to API dox (by having it as e.g. docs/Debugging.md in the repo), which also might help having it always in sync with latest KF code & related options?
- copy, paste & adapt the old page into a new page below https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/
- add as new page to https://develop.kde.org/docs/use/ somewhere?
Once such a page exists, any links in the repo from comments, docs etc. should be updated from any old ones to techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/Debugging_IOSlaves or community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/Debugging_IOSlaves
