One competence useful in mathematic is to be able to find which number correspond to a position on a graduated bar.

This competence can be gradually trained throught the following activity.

First step:

• ordonate numbers between 1 and 9

Second step:

• ordonate numbers between limits

Third step:

• choose a target number amongst random numbers according to a place on the graduated, after having placed the numbers on this graduated bar

Fourth step

• choose a target number amongst random numbers according to a place on the graduated, numbers are not visible on the graduated bar

Fivfth step

• choose a target number amongst random numbers according to a place on the graduated bar.
