How about breeze icon of SimpleScreenRecorder? This program is very popular, but not have a breeze icon.
Maybe repaint digiKam icon to make a SimpleScreenRecorder icon?

I was trying to make an icon, but it wasn't pretty.

I was trying to make an icon, but it wasn't pretty.

Here are some hints:
Read the icon section of hig.kde.org and the workflow article it references. Post anything that confuses you or feels unexplained in the talk section of the workflow article. I don't do tutoring in the talk section though.
Use the grid at 1px X and Y.
Use rectangles, circles and triangles.
Use the options in Inkscape's Path menu to sculpt your shapes.
Study all of the existing Breeze icons to get a feel for how to make your icon fit in.
