Here's an idea off the top of my head:
How about an initiative of sponsoring members of our community to work for a few days from the workplaces of other KDE contributors? Provided of course that their employers are in agreement.
Perhaps we could involve our sponsors & e.V.'s supporting members as well.
I've seen this happen a lot with startups and people seem to enjoy it.
