Improve GNHS Visibility in System Settings
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

Intro

KDE has a great integration to download themes, plugins and other stuff directly from the KDE store to your local computer and this is a really great thing at least in theory. Practically there are some issues with which I have to hassle from time to time and which are quite annoying.

Problems

  • Some downloads (aka themes) from the store do not show up in the respective system settings area for no obvious reason
  • Manual download from the store which are placed in the corresponding location may show up in the system settings section but are not regonized as "installed" by the GNHS framework
  • Themes which were installed from the store and where previously correct regonized as installed, seems to lose the connection so that the framework offers the option to "install" them again
  • From time to time the installed list gets completely empty (have that case at the moment)

This seems less about increasing the visibility and more about fixing bugs. Are all these issues tracked with Bugzilla tickets?
