Develop welcome template
Open, LowPublic

Description

A welcome template should:

  1. Inform the user about the communication channels and guides.
  2. Invite the user to start writing a new section
  3. Invite the user to start editing its own already created sections
  4. Visualize a list of section created by the user on its own page

Considerations:

  • Should the template be dismissable? Or it need to show always the links to the guide and communication channels?

Preview of the user's page template:

The input field needs to be adjusted for mobile screens and the section and info part need to be resized in order to have the same margin of the welcome part

"section and info part need to be resized in order to have the same margin of the welcome part "

this part has been fixed

This is a preview of what we thought about the template. I'm not thinking about the mockup but about the UX. What are the fundamental elements that need to be shown? In my opinion they are:

  1. The Welcome message with a link to communication channels and guide
  2. The sections created by the user
  3. A Badge that links to the tutor (if we want to do that)

Can we close this? I don't remember what we decided, wether to implement a welcome messaging system or not
