Description
I would want to improve KDE app and shell support for peripherals found in mobile devices. Such as touchscreens, displays that are vertical, accelerometers, speakers and mics close to each other, displays with small physical size and high pixel density.
With GNU/Linux phones getting more popular, it would be nice, if KDE was a more viable choice, without the need to replace apps, or just use some apps on a different system, when said apps already do have such support (like Dolphin)
I think GNU/Linux phones powered by KDE does connect to control over digital life and freedom/privacy.
Many separate apps and components already implement some level of support, but most are not full or have issues.
What it will take
This would need identifying each and every issue, missing feature, workflow break, and fixing/implementing them.
Identifying them can be done the simplest way by actually using a device like that, and just reporting every single problem, when apps are used in vertical display mode, when the accelerometer rotates the screen, when buttons, scrollbars and such are used with touchscreen.
How we know we succeeded
It will be known by people recommending the default Plasma shell and apps on phones where GNU/Linux is available, instead of replacing apps or the shell.

I don't have a team. I myself can report every single issue, related to the goal, and can try to fix some, that I have the skills for.
