Add KF6 docs on api.kde.org/develop.kde.org
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

Open questions:

  • should KF5 & KF6 docs be parallel shown, similar to Qt? Or move KF5 directly to api.kde.org/legacy/?
  • when should tutorials/docs on https://develop.kde.org/docs/ be switched to Qt6/KF6 API? Or also parallel?

Considerations:
Not all libraries (& apps) documented on api.kde.org might be Qt6/KF6 ready at the same time, so still need to link docs into KF5 & Qt5 docs instead (so needs a separate kapidox run ATM)

Not sure, putting it inside legacy would be a lot easier. But maybe having both in parallel might be a better idea. Currently the url is: https://api.kde.org/frameworks/ I would move kf5 to https://api.kde.org/frameworks5/ and then have https://api.kde.org/frameworks/ redirect to https://api.kde.org/frameworks6/.

when should tutorials/docs on https://develop.kde.org/docs/ be switched to Qt6/KF6 API? Or also parallel?

I would switch them all to kf6 instead of having them in parallel. I think this is a good idea to propose this as a season of kde project, as it would allow a beginner to get familiar to read all tutorial and try to make them work with kf6
